The Continence Center at Metropolitan Urology provides
urodynamic testing for patients
The Continence Center at Metropolitan Urology, PSC, primarily functions to carry out bladder function testing, commonly known as urodynamics. These tests are ordered by a physician and help him or her determine the best course of treatment for your individual problem.
The testing involves the insertion of catheters and tests the filling and emptying of the bladder. The tests are explained to you as they are performed and generally take about an hour. Following testing, nearly all patients are able to return to their daily activities without difficulty. Testing can be ordered by any physician, and testing results will be returned to your doctor in a timely fashion.
Other Continence Center services include post-operative education, as well as general patient information. We take the time to address all of your concerns and answer all of your questions about the urodynamic testing process, helping you get maximum benefit from your study.
We are dedicated to patient education, and to assisting your doctor in getting as much information as possible, assuring that your problems are expertly addressed and treated.
The Center is staffed by Certified Urology Registered Nurses with over 25 years of combined urologic experience. Our hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at our Jeffersonville, Indiana location. We also have limited hours at both our Suburban and downtown office locations.
We can be reached at (812) 206-8197, or through the main Metropolitan Urology number at (812) 282-3899.
